1.  Login your your Authorize.Net Gateway account Online.  https://account.authorize.net

2.  From the Home Screen > Select eCheck.net under Products and Services

3.  Once you've opened, you'll be asked to fill out the application online.  Please complete in its entirety to help approve in timely manner.

5.  How long does the eCheck.Net application process take?


The eCheck.Net application and underwriting process may take up to three (3) business days when complete and correct information is provided. If the application is incomplete or required documents are missing, you will receive an email notifying you that additional information is required in order to complete the approval process. In this case, the application process may take one (1) to three (3) business days.

6. How do I check the status of my eCheck.Net application?


To check the status of your eCheck.Net application in the Merchant Interface, click Merchant Profile in the main menu. The status of your eCheck.Net application will be listed in the Payment Methods section. Please wait at least three (3) business days after submission to check the status of your eCheck.Net application.

  • To contact Authorize.Net looking for status you can call 877.447.3938.  Be sure to have your Gateway I.D. on hand

  • Once Approved, all ACH/eCheck processes average approximately 6 days to clear the banking networks vs 24 hours for credit cards.
  • Additional Information:

    Sometimes, Authorize.Net will need to look at additional information to finalize the underwriting of your ACH / eCheck processing.  These are some of the items they may ask for:

    • Privacy Policy
    • List of Products & Services you offer with pricing or (3) recent invoices.
    • Provide business address verification in the form of a utility bill, or landline phone bill.
